Get ready to fall in love with high schooler Victor Salazar, who’s on a journey to self-discovery in the new Hulu series Love, Victor.

The 10-episode spinoff of the 2018 big-screen romance Love, Simon follows Michael Cimino’s character as he struggles with his sexuality while adapting to a new city (Atlanta) and a new school. “Most of the time [a move like that] makes [figuring out these questions] a lot harder, because trying to navigate this new world is hard,” Cimono says.

The fact that there are no preconceived notions about this Texas transplant should work in Victor’s favor. But when Victor starts dating a classmate named Mia (Rachel Naomi Hilson), Cimino says, “Victor makes there be preconceived notions about him. He’s on his way to a very tough first few months at school.”

Hulu has moved up the release of Love, Victor so it will now release on June 17, 2020 instead of the original airdate of June 19th, 2020.

This means that Love, Victor will now release NEXT WEEK and we couldn’t be more excited for the release of Michael’s newest series where he’s the main star!

Love, Victor premieres on June 19th, 2020 on Hulu when all 10 episodes of the first season premieres at once.

Synopsis:
Set in the world of the 2018 groundbreaking film LOVE, SIMON which was inspired by Becky Albertalli’s acclaimed novel, Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, the series follows Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city and exploring his sexual orientation. When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school. Isabella Ferreira (“Orange is the New Black”) plays Pilar, Victor’s sullen younger sister in the throes of teenage angst, while Mateo Fernandez will make his acting debut as Adrian, Victor’s adorable, good-natured little brother. Rachel Naomi Hilson (“This Is Us”) stars as Mia, Victor’s whip-smart friend with a quick wit and easy laugh, with Bebe Wood (“The Real O’Neal’s,” “The New Normal”) as her quirky and social media-obsessed best friend, Lake. George Sear (“Will,” “Into the Badlands”) portrays Benjie, Victor’s confident and charming classmate, with Anthony Turpel (“The Bold and the Beautiful”) as Felix, Victor’s lanky, awkward new neighbor, and Mason Gooding (“Book smart”) as Andrew, Creek wood’s cocky and popular basketball-loving jock.
